"Once our eyes are opened, we can't pretend we don't know what to do.
God, who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls, knows what we know,
and holds us responsible to act." Prov 24:12

Swimming Independently

Finally some video of Bowen swimming all on his own!  He no longer needs my help, he swims completely independently.  In this video, he is looking at the numbers (he LOVES numbers!) on the side of the pool when he flips over on his belly and is looking around.  He swam with his brothers for over an hour in the pool today!

This is how he gets to where he wants to go!  Pretty cool!

  1. Wow- thanks for showing! Bowen, you are going to be unstoppable, kiddo. So fun! (I loved trying to find numbers with him on the tires outside at preschool. He was so frustrated that we couldn't find #15.:)) Hope you're enjoying Mass!!

  7. Way to go Bowen!! You remind me very much of my little friend Samuel...he was also born with multiple amputations and was adopted from Cambodia by his forever family Charlotte and Mark (and big sis Talia).

Samuel has a website at www.samuelsride.com - he has been fundraising for the last 5 years to raise money for various kid-related charities. Who knows...perhaps Bowen and Sam (or their moms!) might become online friends one day!!

All the best to you Bowen and family. Never give up...you CAN do anything you want!!!
